Dear Mathcounts Parents/Coaches,
Mathcounts Chapter competition is coming soon. To better prepare for the chapter competition, good competitors need to work on all the state level problems so that they can handle chapter problems very well and get high score.
Mathcounts.org posted the solutions to state competitions problems on their web page from 2001 to 2011. They do not post or have solutions to 1990-2000 state competition problems.
This training group will have all the solutions to 1990-2000 state competition sprint and target problems worked out by our own. Many problems are given more than one solutions.
We are very sure that our solutions are "different" than the solutions posted by mathcounts.org in their web page because our solutions are derived by parents who also are coaches and students who participated in state competitions many times. When we solve a problem, we keep the students in mind. We do out best to seek for the fastest way, the most concise way, and the most understandable way.
The training starts Dec. 19, 2011 and ends Feb.29, 2012. The cost is $23.99 (just for the solutions of1990-2000 sprint/target problems). We will have a discussion group. If you have trouble with any problem in 1990-2000 sprint/target rounds, you can post in the discussion forum and you will be assured to get the answer.
The solutions for 2001-2011 problems will be free to download. If you need any year's problem, please post and I am sure parents, coaches, and students (including us) will be more than happy to share with you.
There are also some old handbook problems we can discuss. Handbook problems are good practice for the sprint test if you combine three warm-up together.
